Thumbs Up for Keyboard Shortcuts!

Today's main topic was modifier keys + keyboard shortcuts! They are used mainly for efficiency - you don't have to switch from mouse to keyboard, or back. Although I already knew many common shortcuts, I still managed to learn a few. Here is all of the ones that were mentioned to day (which may be useful for you too!):

- Ctrl + c = Copy
- Ctrl + v = Paste
- Ctrl + x = Cut
- Ctrl + o = Open
- Ctrl + q = Quit program
- Ctrl + w = Close window
- Ctrl + s = Save
- Ctrl + z = Undo

- Alt + space = Pull down application menu
- Alt + tab = Switch programs
- Alt + d = Desktop/Switch back
- Alt + F4 = Close/Quit

There! Those are the common keyboard shortcuts we learned today. Hope you will find this list of some help as well... not having to switch back and forth from mouse and keyboard is indeed a lot faster - a good way to save time on CS homework! ;)
